Boons of the Major Arcana: A Character Benefit Tool for Role-Playing Games

When characters first enter their worlds, they can often feel...underwhelming.

Uncertain of their futures, unguided by the powers of fate.

With Boons of the Major Arcana, some portion of characters' backstory and natural inclinations are written in the strands of Fate.

Inspired by the likes of The Elder Scrolls and Persona series, this document contains a series of benefits that could be bestowed on table-top RPG characters upon the moment of their creation. Elements are defaulted to fifth-edition verbiage, but any boon could be tailored to fit any broad d20 based game-system.

Using any Tarot Deck, players and DMs can create opportunities for additional storytelling elements while also giving characters new chances to flex their creativity and lateral thinking skills with tools and bonuses to their avatars. 

This supplement is meant to add to the process of character creation, and its usage is completely free and available for editing to suit any table or play style!
